Phresh, what is it?

“A state of being, where one encompasses all that is good, and actively seeks out new adventures and things to do.” – Grabsters 2013.

The Guide to Being Phresh

Wear Deodorant

The first rule of thumb to being phresh is undoubtedly to make sure you wear deodorant. You can’t be Phresh, unless you’re fresh.

Don’t Wear Scarves or Wooly Hats Indoors

Your body temperature will rise too high, thus preventing you from maintaining your natural level of Phreshness. You wouldn’t want that now, would you?

Listen to Daft Punk

We’re not literally talking about daft punk rock music, we’re talking about the band Daft Punk. It will motivate you to work harder, better, faster and stronger –  so you can maintain your Phresh.

Walk, Don’t Take The Bus

How else will you spot trendy new spots to grab a bite to eat or to head into for a few drinks before all your friends do? Bonus: you can get some exercise in when you’re at it, so you can feel the crisp fresh autumn air (and perhaps the odd spot of rain) on your face.

Grab Yourself a Pair of Parachute Pants

During the warm summer months (days, or even weeks – you know how changeable Irish weather can be) make sure you’ve got a pair of MC Hammer style (or Harem as they’re now calling them), parachute pants to help you keep Phresh.

Spacetravel

The end all and be all… it’s what every Phresh person dreams of… travelling to outer space, where the sky is not the limit, man can fly, one can defy gravity, and achieve things that not many other people will ever get the chance to do in their lifetime.

Make a Bucket List

Let’s get this straight before you start thinking about this in a negative light, we think bucket lists are fun, and should be embraced by all, otherwise we could all go through life, wishing we had tried new things but we never did. This way you can make sure you stay on top of your bucket list, and you can always continue to add stuff to it. Think of it as a To-Do list, just a more fun one.

Keep a Phresh Phrasebook

Whenever you overhear someone (at home, work, on the radio/TV, or on Twitter) say something unique or different, write it down in a phresh phrase book, or if you want to be discrete, make a list on your phone. Then every week, or if possible every day, try to get a word of the day in somewhere, that someone won’t expect. They’ll think you’re wise beyond your years, and you never know, they might even come in handy at a table quiz or in a game show in years to come.
